Quote, paraphrasing, and citation #3

Only the bad laws applied to us, that we couldn't walk on a sidewalk, only in the middle of the street. And we wear a star that everybody should recognize us. But it wasn't a law that somebody couldn't kill us. That law didn't apply to us. It wasn't any justice.” –Eva Galler

She is a survivor from the Holocaust and is telling us about the laws Hitler put down for the Jews. They had to obey them or they would just simply die because there was no law saying the Germans couldn’t kill the Jews. There is no justice for what had happened in the past.
